Budgam, September 19: Budgam Police organized an awareness camp at Police Station Charar-e-Sharief as part of the “ Seva Parv” initiative. A large number of students from different schools participated in the programme.
The students were briefed about the role and functioning of a police station, day-to-day responsibilities of police personnel and the importance of police-public cooperation in maintaining peace and order. Officers of Budgam Police also interacted with the students and addressed their queries to enhance their understanding of policing, rights and civic duties.
The initiative, held under the nationwide “Seva Parv” programme, aims to strengthen police-public relations and spread awareness among youth about various services and responsibilities of the police.
Budgam Police reaffirmed its commitment to community-oriented policing and assured that such awareness programmes will continue to foster mutual trust and cooperation.
