Srinagar, Jan 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will declare the results of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations on January 14, Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said on Tuesday.
Sheikh, who was recently given the additional charge of Chairman while continuing as Secretary of the Board, said the results would be announced as per the commitment made by the government.

“As already announced by the Education Minister Sakina Itoo, the Board will declare the results on January 14. We are committed to honouring that announcement,” Sheikh said.
He said the Class 10 results would be declared around 10.30 am, followed by the Class 12 results at around 2 pm on the same day.
“The results will be available on the JKBOSE website. In addition, result links will also be shared through digital platforms to ensure easy access for students,” he said.
Sheikh said the Board had made all necessary arrangements to declare both results on a single day, a practice that was introduced last year to reduce anxiety among students.
“The government wanted timely declaration of results last year as well, and both Class 10 and Class 12 results were announced on the same day. That benchmark has been maintained this year also,” he said.(GK)
