Shopian, May 7: Wild Life Department Friday captured a black bear that had created havoc in Southern Shopian villages from past some time.
An official from Wild Life Department told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Wild Life Control Room Shopian had constituted a team to capture the black bear.
He said that bear was last seen roaming in Gatipora and Khatallan village. “A trap was laid and finally the black bear got trapped in a cage. The bear will be transported to Wild Life Sanctuary and released there,” said the official. (KNT)
