Sopore, 13 May : Amid coronavirus scare authorities had placed restrictions in order to prevent the spread of virus, locals at Tarzoo village defied restrictions to rush for local parks.
According to an eyewitness hundreds of locals were seen gathered at Veer Panjipora of Tarzoo in Sopore.
However in the meantime police party of Police Station Tarzoo and Police Post Puthkha reached to the spot and acted accordingly.
Meanwhile the Station House Officer (SHO) Tarzoo Bilal Khanday appealed the general public to follow the SOPs and other health related advisories for the safety of their own health and of others.
Officer added, parents are requested to keep an eye on children’s as they visit the area like ‘Veer nallah’ which could prove fatal.
Pertinent to mention authorities had barred any kind of gatherings whether social, political or religious in order to contain the spread of the virus.
