Two Kashmiri Pandit youth arrested for carrying charas in Srinagar
Srinagar, Jan 20, KNT: Two Pandit youth have been arrested on charges of carrying charas in the vehicle they were traveling in Srinagar.
Police sources said that the duo was arrested during checking on the bypass near Lasjan.
Sources told Kashmir News Trust that a police party stopped an Alto (JK02BP/6183) with two youth on board. When the vehicle was checked, 75 grams of charas was recovered from it.
Police seized the vehicle and arrested both the accused who have been identified as Pineet Razdan and Vinay Sharma, presently residing at Muthi Jammu.
A formal case vide FIR number 8/2022 under section 8/20, 29 have been registered against them. (KNT)
