SRINAGAR : On 09/05/2020 one Tanvir Ahmad Hafiz R/o Roshangar Mohalla Nowhatta
Lodged a written report in Police Station Nowhatta to the effect that his vehicle Maruti
bearing Regd. No. JKO1F-6080, has been stolen by some unknown persons during intervening night of 2/3-04-2020.
On receipt of above report case FIR No. 21/2020 U/S 379 IPC was registered and investigation set into motion.
During the course of investigation 02 suspects namely Arsalaan Mushtaq Wandroo S/o
Mushtaq Ahmad R/o Puji Mohalla Rainawari and Mohd Asif Wani S/o Mohd Sultan R/o Tengpora Gandarbal were interrogated, who disclosed that they have committed the crime and on their discloser the vehicle in question has been recovered. Moreover, during further interrogation the following items were recovered on the disclosure of accuseds.
01. Maruti Car Bearing Regd. No.JK01F-1501 stolen property of case FIR
No.27/2020 of P/S Rainawari.
02. Water Pump Motor 01 No.
03. Mobile phones of different qualities 12 No’s.
04. Four Square cigarettes 40 Boxes (Each Box containing 20 Pockets)
05. Cigarette Gold Flake 09 Boxes.
06. Cigarette Cavander 18 Boxes .
07. Copper wire 08 Kgs.
The investigation of the instant case is in progress and further recoveries are expected.
