Srinagar, Mar 22 : A massive blaze devastated three commercial shops and left two firefighters injured in the Bohri Kadal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday, officials said.
An official told that the fire originated from one shop in shopping line and quickly spread to the surrounding shops in Downtown Bohri Kadal.
In this incident, two firefighters have suffered injuries while fighting the fire and were subsequently shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.
The injured firefighters have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad (MD) and Robinder Singh (LFM), and their condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Fire Officer (DFO), Srinagar City Noor Alam told that the cause of fire is under investigation and no loss of life was reported. (KF)
