Srinagar, July 02 : Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday recorded the season’s highest temperature at 33.7 degrees Celsius, while the heat wave also prevailed in rest of Kashmir.
The maximum temperature recorded in Kokernag, Pahalgam & Qazigund was 31.8°C, 28.6°C & 32.5°C respectively, according to Kashmir weather.
Gulmarg & Kupwara districts in north Kashmir recorded maximum temperature of 24.8°C & 33.7°C respectively.
Meanwhile, Kashmir Weather has predicted dry & hot weather conditions till July 04. “The present hot & sunny weather is likely to continue for another 24 – 48 hours, some relief from heat is expected on 05th July.
Light rain/ thundershowers & may be accompanied by hail & gusty winds is possible on Sunday”, according to Kashmir Weather.
