Kulgam Police busts burglars gang, Four burglars arrested and stolen property recovered.
Kulgam 20th July 2020: Acting swiftly upon the complaint recieved by Police Post Mirbazar that burglary took place wherein burglars have looted water Motors in the adjoining areas of Mirbazar, Police party headed by DO PP Mirbazar under the close supervision of SHO and SDPO Qazigund making systematic efforts and generating a specific information regarding the presence of burglars, followed the information, and raided the site at Furrah Mirbazar and apprehended 04 burglars.
From the spot seven water Motors and one Load Carrier Auto used for committing the crime were recovered. After questioning, the apprehended burglars disclosed their identities as :
1. Shahid Mushtaq Bhat S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat.
2. Junaid Ahmad Tantray S/O Abdul Ahad Tantray.
3. Idrees Ganie S/O Gull Mohd Ganie
4. Rizwan Ayoub Bhat S/O Mohd Ayoub Bhat all residents of Furrah Mirbazar.
In this regard case with FIR No. 223/2020 U/S 379, 447, 109,411 IPC stands registered in P/S Qazigund and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
This is in continuation of the efforts of Kulgam Police to curb the social evils. General Public has applauded the timely Police action.
