As expected, light rain occurred at some places of J&K where’s weather remained generally cloudy in Ladakh during past 24hrs. Currently, it is generally cloudy in all three regions with report of very light rain at isolated places of J&K. Forecast for nxt 1 week : Intermittent Light to moderate rain is most likely to occur at fairly widespread places of J&K and at isolated to scattered places of Ladakh region (mainly in Kargil districts) during 17-19th April with main activity during nxt 24hrs. During this period, there’s possibility of thunderstorm with strong gusty winds of the order of 30-40KMPH at scattered places of J&K whereas weather likely to remain windy in Ladakh region. Overall, Weather most likely to remain mainly erratic during nxt 1 week. Warning : Thundershower with strong gusty winds at isolated places of J&K during nxt 2 days.
