Jammu: Contributing their part in fight against COVID-19, globally renowned religious and spiritual organization Brahm Kumaris chapter of Jammu and Kashmir located in Jammu West at Rehari Chungi donated an amount of Rupees 151000 towards PM CARES FUND. The cheque was handed over by the head of J&K Chapter Sudershan Didi to State General Secretary BJP (Org.) Ashok Kaul in presence of Former State President BJP and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA).
District President West Munish Khajuria, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Corporator Ward 8 Dr Akshay Sharma, District General Secretary Rajesh Gupta & Karan Sharma were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudershan Didi thanked and appreciated the BJP Unit for working on the ground 24*7 for betterment of society and providing every possible relief to them. She also said that Brahmkumaris will also assist them in any situation if our help is required to serve the needy in these tough times.
Asho Kaul thanked the Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Brahm Kumaris for contributing such a generous amount towards PM CARES FUND and said that this amount will be utilized for the ongoing fight against COVID-19. He also appealed others as well to contribute any amount towards PM CARES FUND and stated that this is the fight where we all have to be together and supportive with each other. Kaul also appreciated efforts of BJP Jammu West unit for working on the ground to serve needy.
Sat Sharma also thanked Brahm Kumaris and stated that they have always been supportive to society in every way and have been serving the mankind from decades. He also stated that till date more than 10000 needy families have been provided with various services during COVID-19 outbreak.
