Budgam, July10, CNS: Budgam Police, while establishing a special Naka on the basis of specific information on Friday, arrested two drug peddlers and recovered more than half a Kg of narcotic substance, Charas from their possession.
An official told news gathering agency CNS that on specific information a Naka was established by Police party of Police Station Khag near Village Sugen.
During checking one Alto K-10 vehicle, bearing registration No. JK04F-063, was intercepted with three persons on board, who were identified as 01. Javaid Ahmad Mir S/O Mohammad Ramzan Mir 02. Sameer Ahmad Wani S/O Mohammad Tariq Wani 03. Ashiq Ahmad Sheikh S/O Abdul Rehman Sheikh, all residents of Kulhama Breewah.
During search of the vehicle 570 grams of Charas like substance was seized from their possession.
All the three accused were been arrested and the vehicle was also seized.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 57/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khag and investigation has been initiated. (CNS)
