Awantipora 26 July :In order to prevent the spread of Corona Virus, Awantipora Police today seized/challaned 34 vehicles for violating lockdown order.
Moreover 35 persons were fined for not wearing the masks from different areas of Police District Awantipora which is violation of the government order.
Fine to the tune of Rs 17,500 (Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred) has been realised from the violators.
People of Awantipora, Tral, Pampore and khrew are requested to stay inside and not to venture out unnecessarily as well as to cooperate with law enforcing agencies for implementation of effective lockdown.
