COVID19: Kashmir reports five new deaths, J-K toll 305
Srinagar, July 24 :COVID19 claimed five more lives in UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, taking toll of total deaths related to COVID-19 in J&K to 304.
Officials told Asiannewshub that four patients who died due to virus include a lady from Safakadal Srinagar, 60-year-old man from Peerbagh Srinagar, 75-year-old man from Hakeembagh Rawalpora Srinagar, 72-year-old from Braen Nishat Srinagar and 48-year-old women from Kantbagh Baramulla.
An official from SMHS hospital told Asiannewshub, that a lady patient from Safakadal was admitted on 20 July with bilateral pneumonia and had tested positive for COVID19 on 22 July, sccumbed on Saturday wee hours.
An official from SKIMS told Asiannewshub that Peerbagh patient was admitted on 18 July with multiple ailments died on Saturday.
He added that a patient from Rawalpora was admitted on 18 July, died in the hospital, had tested positive for COVID19 on 17 July.
Regarding a lady from Kantbagh he said that she was admitted on 22 July with pneumonia and had test positive for the virus days before.
Elderly man from Braen Nishat was admitted in the Hospital on 20 July, with community acquired pneumonia, sccumbed on Saturday afternoon, Official added.
With five more deaths, the death toll related to COVID19 has reached to 305 in J&K including 283 from Kashmir division and 22 from Jammu division.(ANH)
