Police fired some aerial shots after a driver refused to stop by ignoring signal

Budgam, July 19, : Panic witnessed for sometime in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district after police fired some aerial shots in air to stop a vehicle after driver allegedly ignored the signal by police and tried to flee.
Police sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that a maruti car bearing registration number DL 3CAG 8816 which was driven by Zahid Majied Ahanger son of Ab Majied a resident of Safa kadel area of Srinagar city ignored the signal by the naka party at Beerwah and tried to flee from the spot after which naka party fired two rounds of aerial shots.
Meanwhile, Police have arrested the driver of the said car and seized the vehicle and further investigations are on.(KDC)
