Awantipora Police fines 17 violators; seizes 35 vehicles for defying Govt orders
August 03: Acting tough against the violators of Govt prohibitory orders, Police have seized 35 vehicles and fined 17 violators for defying govt orders in Awantipora.
17 violators were fined for not wearing masks in different areas of Awantipora and fine to the tune of ₹8,500 was collected from them.
Police have also seized 35 vehicles across the Police District for violating prohibitory orders issued by the administration.
Police have once again requested the general public to follow the directions issued by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Also, those who are found violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly.
