Pulwamma, Sep,4: The world has witnessed complete halt due to pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, opening a chance for the dedicated and determinent teachers of the valley to keep their momentum of teaching continue in a wider way and grabbed every kind of opportunity to deliver online classes.
Dr Aabid Mushtaq,
PhD Mathematics, working as assistant professor at institute of technology, Zakura Campus, University of Kashmir, has been delivering online lectures at home for classes 11th, 12th, JEE, B.tech and other higher classes.
Dr.Aabid Mushtaq belongs to a village(Lorow Jageer) situated at the upper reaches of Tral. The village is treated as the fertile land and educationally it has produced number of gems. Dr. Aabid is one of gems who was honoured by different universities in kashmir and outside kashmir and has contributed in the research works organised by UGC and other research forums.
During lockdown months the students feel a kind of apprehension and are not able to find any soothing source which can help them to carry on the momentum of Education but they feel relaxed and comfy themselves by visualising his online Maths lectures uploaded on facebook and mission- e applications. Maths a kind of subject which is difficult to understand on self practice it needs proper guidance and teaching skills then only it becomes understood. Dr. Aabid has done fabulous job in inculcating the reality of teaching techniques and skills of maths line among students during online classes.
The people of Tral especially of his own villagers applauded the move initiated by Dr. Aabid. His friends and relatives realy felt proud about him and presented their good wishes for him in every field of life especially in education.
