Jammu and Kashmir Aam Aadmi Party activists, namely S/Sh. S. Deep Singh, Ram Singh Chauhan, Dr. A. C. Bhagat, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S. Parmveer Singh, Om Parkash Khajuria, Amit langer, Rampal Khajuria, Raman Sharma & Mohd Aslam Kohli , in a joint statement issued here have said that during NC-Congress & then PDP- BJP rule, the J&K erstwhile state had assumed the notoriety of being No-1 in corruption in the ranking of Indian states as per ”Transparency International” and with the change of guard there came the slogan of eradicating corruption & bringing ”Achhe Din” which was liked by Indian electorates, the hopes of general masses dashed to ground when a most tainted Senior bureaucrat- Dr. Yash Paul Sharma has been re-appointed by the Lt. Governor’s administration as Managing Director, J&K Medical supplies Corporation Ltd. The release further elaborated that said Dr. Yash Paul Sharma is already facing an enquiry in case of Industrial Plot at SIDCO complex Bari Brahmana under PV.No;- 26/19,vigilance commission, Jammu. Further Mr. Sharma came to light in 2015 in purchase of spurious drugs & a raid was conducted by state Vigilance Organization, Jammu.
The J&K-AAP has appealed the Lt. Governor to look into the matter personally to ascertain the fate of above mentioned case & bring the culprit to books, the release said and demanded to rescind the order of re-appointment of Dr. Yash Paul Sharma as MD, J&K Medical supplies Corporation Ltd with immediate effect failing which it will be presumed that there is no difference between the previous corrupt conventional regimes & the present one. It is surprising that ruling dispensations, be at centre or at UT level, are always shouting hollow and false slogans of eradicating corruption just to befool the common masses at one hand and at the other side corrupt persons are being appointed and re-appointed & rewarded on high positions.
